Discover The Reason Behind Excessive German Shepherd Barking!

Nothing could be more irritating in the world than a German Shepherd barking who won't stop and the more you try to make your pet stop, the more it barks! I've experienced this myself, having chosen to take care of a few German Shepherd's of my own.
Believe me, the German Shepherd barking was annoying at first but before you do anything, you have to understand why your beloved pet is acting so. There are a couple of reasons for excessive barking but they usually break down in two groups: excessive barking because of stimulus and excessive barking because for no apparent reason.
Excessive barking because of stimulus
Your dog does this whenever something catches his attention and he responds through barking. Common instances include the following:
1.People in Sight
Whenever somebody or something (another animal) is within a dog's view, he reacts by barking. If the person disappears from his sight, he stops.
2.People in Territory
If something or someone has entered your dog's territory, he reacts by barking. That's his way of telling you that someone has 'trespassed'.
Excessive barking for no apparent reason
Sometimes, your dog just barks for no apparent reason! Well, that's harder to figure out than the usual stimulus. Whenever I experience this, I attribute my German Shepherd barking to one of the three reasons:
1.Anxiousness
2.Boredom
3.Loneliness
If that's the case, then your dog is craving for your attention and the only way for it to stop is to give that attention.
For whatever reason, excessive barking of your dog means that your beloved pet has something to convey. Your pet has a message to share to you, and that you should listen to it if you want it to stop because that's the only way it will stop.
So the next time your dog won't stop barking, try to listen and you'll be surprised at the way he sees things!
